These images were taken with my 4x5 field camera...just love the tonal range of this film, which is sadly, no longer in production. Kate & Ian's wedding is one of our favorites. Thatcher, was the lead photographer on this one - and I was eternally jealous that he had the opportunity to work with such a fabulous couple. Kate is a stylist from London and Ian is a charming French cinematographer. The wedding was everything we love: daring, original, full of delightful surprises!
I wanted to share this wedding from our archive, not only to show this fun couple, but also introduce Thatcher's work more formally to you. Most of my current brides know Thatcher already - he and I photograph the majority of our weddings together and so many of the unique reportage photos from each event come from his talented eyes. He's not only my photography partner, but he's my loving fiance, my calming force, and a wonderful source of inspiration. I've photographed these two cuties ever since they were "wee" ones and it's so fun to see how much they've grown each session. Such little men...such personalities! I'm offering some off season specials on child portrait sessions so give a ring if you'd like to schedule a session. Did you see the latest issue of Well Wed & Vermont Vows? I've been meaning to post the images for ages. I worked on this fantastic photo shoot with these lovely ladies (Thanks Jana & Krista!) in Charleston, SC. The delightful Barrie Fischer also photographed. Here's one of my favorite shots. Ashley Perryman's styling was insanely gorgeous, as always!
