Preview from Lake Como

I just came back from Lake Como where I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsay & Mark's wedding - they happen to be two of the sweetest people I know and it was so wonderful to finally see all of Lindsay's months of planning come together.  Here's a sneak peak from our mini portrait session before the ceremony - isn't Lindsay just stunning!

More photos on the way-

PDN Article

I was tremendously honored when Jacqueline Tobin at PDN Magazine contacted me awhile back about featuring my marketing materials in the June promo issue. I worked with Lisa Hoffman of Ceci New York to put together a promo that really reflected my personal style and emphasized the "destination wedding" aspect of my business.  I now use the packaging for all of my albums and correspondence.  Check out the article below!

Laura & Nick {Villa Vignamaggio, Tuscany}

I photographed a wedding over Fourth of July weekend at one of my favorite venues - Villa Vignamaggio.  This pink villa tucked away in the Tuscan hills is said to be the birth place of Mona Lisa and it was also the backdrop for the film Much Ado About Nothing.  The wedding was planned by the lovely Helen Kershaw and assisted by Joelle Edwards.

Below are a few favorite images from the day... Enjoy!

Rena & Fabien {Fontainebleau, France}

In January I had the idea that I would start the year off with a new visual journal - a blog showcasing my latest work, charming lovelies I've been collecting for my home by the coast in Charleston, and a handful of shots of my 4 very precious dogs {Waldorf, Eloise, Lisette, & Truman}.  Well, now it's July and that one post of our not-so-new-anymore puppy Truman has remained the single entry for much longer than I had planned. So, I'm going to do it now - dive right in and post some recent favorite weddings in hopes that I'll be able to make my posts rather more frequent than once every six months.

I had the great pleasure of going to France in May to photograph Rena & Fabien's wedding at Chateau du Bourron.  Rena is a work colleague of one of my dearest friends in New York and it was wonderful as always to celebrate amongst a small group of close friends at this gorgeous chateau about an hour from Paris.

While dark blue clouds seem to threaten overhead for most of the day, we had some lovely pockets of sunshine and I was able to accompany the couple around the chateau's grounds.
